Abstract:

This is the second of a series of articles about XML and content reuse systems for experienced instructional designers. The first part explained the underlying concepts of XML and content reuse systems and related those concepts to the instructional design process. This article discusses taxonomies, processes and tools that can be used in conjunction with different source repositories. The final article describes different implementations and the determination of the return on investment for content reuse systems.
